How to submit:

We are currently accepting submissions for the Spring 2026 print edition of the journal! Rather than accepting submissions during a small window each semester, we are shifting our schedule to accept submissions all year round.
Submission guidelines:

  1. Only CURRENTLY ENROLLED APPALACHIAN STATE STUDENTS are eligible to submit work to The Peel. You must submit using your @appstate.edu email.
  2. Please, do not submit any work that has your full name displayed on your piece. You will receive an email telling you to resubmit, due to our blind and anonymous judging policies.
